Medikal , whose real name is Samuel Adu Frimpong , is a hip-hop artist from Ghana emerging from Chris Waddles AMG Business record Label.

He is one of the hard-working rap artistes in Ghana as he had gradually attained the support of many Ghanaians through his adoption and repertoire of his hard banging Hip-Hop beats.

Medikal received six nominations at the 2017 Ghana Music Awards, the highest nominations amongst the artists (although he did not win an award).

“I came and saved and changed the rap game. Like Reggie Rockstone, Lord Kenya and the others came and saved the game some time ago, I also came and saved the genre when I came into the music scene“

Speaking to the media he said losing out on every single award at the VGMA taught him several lessons and have motivated him to do more for himself and his music career.

According to him, like Reggie Rockstone and other top rappers in the past who came to give the hip-hop genre a facelift, he also came into the game and has saved it from deteriorating.

He said “I came and saved and changed the rap game. Like Reggie Rockstone, Lord Kenya and the others came and saved the game some time ago, I also came and saved the genre when I came into the music scene“.

Medical is planning a UK Tour promoting his album “Disturbation” this year.
