Allison Ettel also famously known as “Permit Patty” broke the internet on Saturday when a video surfaced of her calling the police on a black 8-year old girl selling water bottles in an attempt to raise funds for her family to go to Disney World. The event happened outside of their apartment in San Francisco, California.

Illegally selling water bottles outside without a permit….

Really?!

Ettel told The Huffington Post that there was “no racial component to it” and she only “pretended” to call the police. She also said, “They were screaming about what they were selling. It was literally nonstop. It was every two seconds, ‘Come and buy my water.’ It was continuous and it wasn’t a soft voice, it was screaming. I had been putting up with this for hours, and I just snapped.”

Ettel’s actions were seen as distasteful by a majority of people leading to many conversations such as the appropriate time to call the police and white peoples comfortability in calling the police on black children.

The internet did its work in finding out more information on Allison Ettel revealing that “Permit Patty” was the CEO of TreatWell Health, a Cannabis distributor primarily in Cannabis oils.

As soon as Cannabis distributors made the connection between #PermitPatty and Allison Ettel, they began taking her products off of shelves.

Several Bay Area marijuana companies made public statements saying they will no longer carry TreatWell Health products after Ettel’s actions.

“Compassion is supposed to be at the forefront of this industry, and to see the way this has played out — with a complete disregard for a child’s wellbeing — I think it was a disappointment,” Katie Rabinowitz, general manager of Magnolia Oakland

Rabinowitz won’t be ordering any more TreatWell products. All leftover inventory will be sold at a discounted price and the proceeds from the remaining sales, she said, will be given to the girl who was selling the water, and to Black Girls Code, a San Francisco nonprofit focused on providing technology education for African American girls.

NBC News reported that, the dispensaries Bloom Room, Apothecarium and Green Trees Wellness also agreed to stop selling TreatWell products. Herb, a cannabis delivery service, and Ganjly, a marijuana news and review site, also cut ties with Ettel’s company.

Berkeley Patients Group announced on Sunday that it would no longer sell TreatWell Health products via. Social Media.

Ettel is also finding trouble with the law. The company was founded in 2015, according to its website, but the Secretary of State’s database does not show any company by that name registered in California. They manufacture Cannabis oils for humans and pets starting at $80.

It should be noted that TreatWell Health “products (are) based on 20+ years of observational data from treating humans and 10+ Years treating animals with cannabis.”

Meaning they’ve been illegally distributing marijuana products for quite some time.

Many Americans are doing jail time for selling 0.5 gram bags of Marijuana because they didn’t have a “Permit”. If we had a fair justice system “Permit Patty” should be facing penalties for her illegal actions.

The “Permit Patty” viral meme incident is the second recent viral encounter of a white person calling the cops on black people for unnecessary reasons.

In April, “BBQ Becky” (and at the time also “Permit Patty”) called the police on a black couple for using a charcoal grill in a non-approved area.

“BBQ Becky” also was evaluated for an involuntary psychiatric hold after she called police.

Just goes to show, God Don’t like ugly.

“I just wanna thank Columbia Records for considering me for President/CEO I’m Bout to Bring something new to this Game”

Juicy J released his third solo studio album Stay Trippy under Taylor Gang Records, Kemosabe Records and Columbia Records. 3 6 Mafia also dropped multiple projects under the label so its safe to say that Columbia’s relationship with Juicy J is healthy.

Although there is no verifiable confirmation of Juicy J landing the position, the possibility of the recording artist becoming President/CEO does seem interesting.

#Drake shows off future OVO Mansion

A post shared by HĪP (@hipmagazineorg) on

Drake’s OVO Mansion in Toronto is insane! The recording artist with “more #1 hits than the Beetles” purchased two acres of land in Toronto exclusive Bridle Path neighbourhood three years ago, for a whopping $6.7 million.

He tore down the existing property in order to make way for his custom-built home, a project he’s been talking about since Views From The 6

Designed by Ontario-based luxury home designer and builder Ferris Rafauli, Drake’s OVO mansion will include an elevator, a 10-car garage, four guest bedrooms, an awards room to display his many awards, a piano room, screening room, a gym, an NBA regulation-size basketball court, and a jersey room to house his basketball memorabilia, of course.

The master bedroom is 941 square-feet, larger than some people’s entire homes.
